NOW

Anybody who makes a $10 wager at a Station Casino sports book will receive two free tickets to the Las Vegas Locomotives' home opener against the Bakersfield Whatchimacallits at Sam Boyd Stadium.

Actually, it's the California Redwoods -- not the Bakersfield Watchimacallits -- that will provide the opposition for the Locos on Oct. 8.

My source on this said you get four free tickets for a $5 bet and eight free tickets just for asking if Murray from Brooklyn is writing tickets today.

Locomotives tickets are are available online (unlvtickets.com) for $7-$42. But anybody who pays $42 for a ticket when you can get two free ones just for betting $10 on Florida and laying the points needs to have his helmet examined.

THEN

They are playing the Triple-A National Championship Game tonight. Memphis vs. Durham. 4 p.m., ESPN2.

If you watch it, there's probably a way you can receive free tickets for the Locomotives' game against the California Redwoods.
