There’s still hope for me and Rebecca De Mornay

NOW

I received an e-mail the other day that said I was being considered for inclusion in the 2009-10 Princeton Global Networks' Registry honors edition.

I think what I'm really being considered for is ponying up $69.95, or whatever they charge for the book with your name in it.

This also happened to me in high school, when I paid $39.95 to see my name in "Who's Who Among American High School Students." I think I was in the same edition as Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme.

Anyway, this Princeton thing sounds legit because it came with a letter from Bill Rutherford that said the Princeton Registry "can use a guy like Joel -- I mean, Ron."

I'm not sure whether I'm going to fill out the questionnaire.

Or take up squash or field hockey in my spare time.

THEN

Princeton used to be called the College of New Jersey. I have this theory that if it were still called that, Brooke Shields probably would have just gone to Rutgers.
