"Rebels on the Rise," a behind-the-scenes look why the UNLV football team is being touted as an up and coming team in 2009, was postponed Thursday.
Uh-oh.
But it wasn't for the usual reasons. You know, like using "up and coming" and "UNLV football" in the same sentence.
Apparently, there was a scheduling conflict.
THEN
The last sentence in a story on the Sun Web site said the Las Vegas Locomotives will face the New York Sentinels at Hofstra University on Nov. 4 at 4 p.m.
Locomotives? Sentinels? Hofstra?
The last time I heard of Hofstra was on a Bill Cosby comedy album.
Yeah, I know. Super Bowl I didn't sell out, either.
