FBI, Metro and AG serve clinic search warrants

Metro Police, the FBI and investigators from the Nevada State Attorney General's Office and the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General began serving search warrants at today at 9 a.m., at six Gastroenterology Center of Nevada clinics.

The Gastroenterology Center clinics include those at 700 Shadow Lane, where health officials confirmed six patients had contracted hepatitis C, 4275 Burnham Ave., 3150 N. Tenaya Ave., 5915 Rainbow Blvd., 2610 West Horizon Ridge in Henderson and 1815 E. Lake Mead Blvd. in North Las Vegas.

Metro Police officers said the warrants were served to gather more information necessary in law enforcement's ongoing criminal investigation into improper medical practices at the centers.
