The Clark County Election Department is reminding residents they must be registered to vote by Tuesday to be eligible to cast a ballot in the Aug. 12 primary election.

Those who are not yet registered must register in-person at one of the county's two election office locations. The offices will be open during the weekend and are offering extended hours through Tuesday.

The offices are open until 7 p.m. tonight. Tomorrow through Tuesday, they will be open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Registration is available at the Clark County Election Department Office at the Government Center, 500 South Grand Central Parkway, and the Clark County Election Center Office at 965 Trade Drive, Suite A, in North Las Vegas.

Voters unsure of their registration status are advised to check the election department’s Web site to verify their information, or call 702-455-VOTE.
