The giant American flag waving from the 110-foot flagpole at Towbin Hummer wasn't enough to sway District Court Judge Michael Villani, who ruled today that the car dealer must take down the pole.
Villani backed the Las Vegas City Council's decision to reject a variance needed to display a flagpole of that height.
The owner has 60 days to remove the flagpole. Under city law, the dealership is allowed to have a flagpole up to 40 feet.
