Holocaust scholar Michael Berenbaum will be the keynote speaker at the Temple Beth Shalom on Wednesday night to commemorate Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Berenbaum's speech entitled, "Twin Revolutions in Contemporary Jewish Life - The Holocaust and Israel," will address the relationship between two important events in Jewish history: the Holocaust and Israel's establishment as a state.

The observance will also include readings from Holocaust survivors, victim's names read by the temple's teens, as well as a candle lighting service.

This free event starts at 7 p.m. and is open to the public.
