Good thing Danilo Gallinari didn’t make his pro debut in New York City. After the hearty round of boos that rang down on him last month at the NBA draft inside the Theater at Madison Square Garden, surely some Knicks fans would have crucified the 19-year-old Italian star after missing his first five shots and going scoreless for 18 minutes.

One thing definitely stood out in Kevin Love’s first NBA game Monday night at the Cox Pavilion, the All-American from UCLA doesn’t like to be on the wrong end of the scoreboard. “I never like losing. I’m not use to it. I don’t accept it,” said Love, after Minnesota’s 88-74 setback to Dallas.
NBA Day 3: Clippers shelve Gordon for Summer League
The big news out of Summer League action on Sunday is that Los Angeles Clippers first-round pick Eric Gordon is done for the session with an injured hamstring.
