This week, Monday By the Numbers targets Rascal Flatts, which is beginning its series of performances at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel on Wednesday night; the MGM Resorts International job fair; and, yes, Target.

28 million: Number of albums sold by Rascal Flatts.

29 million: Number of downloads sold by Rascal Flatts.

Nine: Number of shows in Rascal Flatts’ limited engagement at the Joint.

20,000: Approximate number of tickets for sale in the Rascal Flatts residency.

22,000: Planned seating capacity at MGM Resorts Arena.

500: Approximate number of jobs being filled at MGM Resorts International’s job fair 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mandalay Bay Events Center.

12: Number of MGM Resorts properties where those positions will be filled. They are Aria, Bellagio, Circus Circus Las Vegas, Excalibur, Luxor, Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand Las Vegas, the Mirage, Monte Carlo, New York-New York, the Signature at MGM Grand and Vdara.

1,000: Approximate number of employees at the Riviera who will be losing their jobs at the hotel when it closes May 4.

4: Number of Broadway shows in which Joey Fatone, who just started his run as Dennis Dupree in “Rock of Ages” at the Venetian, has appeared: “Rent,” “Little Shop of Horrors,” “The Producers” and “42nd Street.”

200: Number of invited guests to Nancy Houssels’ 80th birthday celebration Saturday at the Smith Center for the Performing Arts.

$50,000: Amount of the donation check presented to Nevada Ballet Theater by Smith Center benefactor Fred W. Smith on behalf of the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation.

$8 million: The amount Target paid for its live commercial in downtown Las Vegas, showcasing Imagine Dragons performing “Shots” from the just-released “Smoke + Mirrors,” during the Grammys telecast Feb. 8.
