  1. Actually, "Phantom -- the Las Vegas Spectacular," closed in September 2012, after a six-year run at the Venetian.

  2. Ahhhh, it's gotta be good being Steve....

  3. WooT 2012 LoL

  4. Steve lost $50 Million on Mitt Romney, then scores a $65 Mil new jet plane.

Steve(i got so much money i could pile 10 Mil in cash in front of my casino and set it on fire while laughing like the Joker) Wynn Respect..

  5. Note from Johnny Kats: The column has been edited to clarify that the purchase of the jet was made by Wynn Resorts for company use, not by Wynn himself for personal use. Also, "Phantom" announced it was closing in January, but did not actually perform its final show until Labor Day Weekend.

  6. life is good using other peoples money---like stealing the dealers tips and giving it to the managers so you can pocket more money to buy planes and toys! WEINBERG is the biggest piece of crap in town!!!!!

  7. Must be a slow news day. Who cares?! I love watching you slaves line up to kiss the booty of fellow narcissists who have all the money, power, and/or fame you never will. You are all a bunch of sheep.

  8. Poor Steve,
He is constantly bashing the President.
Complains about all of the "uncertainty".
    Donates millions to Mitt.

Seems to me he is doing ok under the current administration.

  9. easy to buy 65million dollar planes when your workers pay more in taxes than your company or yourself---nevada lets these snakes slide with not paying their share and they turn around and shaft the workers!!!! gaming tax is half of what it should be!!!!!

  10. @mrlucky,

I see no reason to insult crap like that.

  11. So when Wynn jets to the Caribbean this month to set sail on his yacht, he'll be riding coach on American Airlines? Doesn't that trip qualify as "personal use"? Like to see how that is expensed in the quartly reports....

  12. Imagine what kind of plane he would have bought if Obama were not the President.

  13. Purchased in Oregon huh???? Last time I checked, Gulfstream was from Georgia. Might Mr. Wynn be trying to avoid paying sales tax??? Since Oregon has no sales tax.

  14. Amazing how a increase in taxes on gaming revenue would bankrupt this businees but they can find money for a $65 million swimming pool and a $65 million jet that only carries 18 people.

  15. Good for him... he's worked hard, made wise choices and enjoys the spoils of his productivity. Even though my politics are left leaning, I still subscribe to that theory.
