Who will be the act/band/performers to open the new Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel? The new resident performer will be announced tomorrow, officially. Here’s an authoritative, accurate top 11 list of who won’t be that performer:

  1. Damn! Spinal Tap would totally rock The Joint, especially when their drummer-du-jour blows up during the finale. Who could possibly top that?

  2. I should look into this, but I think Spinal Tap's current drummer might be Pete Best.

  3. We saw the The Pete Best Band here at the Fest for Beatle Fans. They were quite good. Maybe they could do Thursday nights. Don't count out The Hoff. He might just slip in under the wire.

  4. I heard Best's band was actually pretty good. He's supposed to be a good interview, too. My buddy Kirk Baird asked Best if he was planning on seeing "Love" while he was here, and Best said, "If I can get tickets."
