Las Vegas residents were introduced to the nation as contestants in the season premieres of two reality shows Wednesday night.
Henderson's own Brittany Rubalcaba, a 19-year-old 2006 graduate of Foothill High School, is one of 14 participants posing for the title of "America's Next Top Model" on the CW. Rubalcaba, who works at the Black Mountain Recreation Center in Henderson, found herself in the bottom two of tonight's competition, but made it to the next round.
And interior designer Teresa Keegan, 35, is competing against 13 (well, 12, after tonight) other designers on the second season of Bravo's "Top Design." Keegan runs her own Las Vegas design firm, Keegan Designs, which specializes in modern interiors and exteriors for custom residential & commercial projects -- her design trademark is a bit of shimmer intermixed with earthy elements. She made it through to next week.
We'll be keeping an eye on our hometown reality stars right here (and we'll give spoiler alerts from now on).
