Palin-drome, Vegas style

As all Palin-tologists know, it's relatively easy to pull off the Sarah Palin look: Hair in a bun, chic eyeglasses, red suit and a wink. (Baby doll optional, but recommended for votes.)

Tina Fey is the reigning queen of the Palin impersonators, but im-Palin-ists have recently been spotted posing with porn stars at San Francisco's extreme-sex celebration called the Folsom Street Fair (you'll have to look up those pictures yourself). And SP will undoubtedly be the most popular Halloween costume of 2008. For men, anyway.

Ever-opportunistic Las Vegas, never a place to miss an chance to capitalize on a craze, is stepping into the Palin-drome: At 8 p.m. next Thursday, October 23, Club Paradise Men’s Club will hold an "Official Sarah Palin Look-a-Like Pageant."

Club "guests" will cast their votes based on the contestants' debating skills, and of course there will be a swimsuit competition. According to a Club Paradise spokesperson, contestants of any gender are welcome to enter the race for this important title.

The winner will be awarded more than $10,000 in cash and prizes, including a trip for two to Washington D.C. for the Presidential inauguration in January 2009.
