Word is out that several performers on the Las Vegas Strip are planning to remember the late, great comedian George Carlin tonight by incorporating his notorious and career-making bit "Seven Words You Can Never Say on Television" into their acts.

Television itself has stepped up with some Carlin-centric programming: On NBC at 11:30 p.m., "Saturday Night Live" is busting out the very first program, which was hosted by Carlin, with original cast members Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi and Chevy Chase.

And the HBO Comedy channel has booked wall-to-wall Carlin stand-up specials, beginning at 4 p.m. today and ending sometime after 4 p.m.

This morning, Bravo replayed an "Inside the Actors Studio" focusing on Carlin; watch your programming guides for a repeat.

Also this week, the iTunes Store honored Carlin's memory with a section devoted to 19 albums of his recorded observations.

And you can find hours and hours and hours of Carlin performances and audiobooks at Audible.com.
