  1. Last week 1-1 Season 164-34 (.832)

    Bishop Gorman 49 Liberty 31

Here's hoping Liberty plays as well as they did this past Saturday and as ballsy as they played last winter. Neither team will have anything left after the game, everyone is leaving everything on that field. Both teams respect what the other can do, but neither fears the other. Liberty does not fear the G whatsoever and Gorman thinks the haka neat.

Solomon the best QB the state has seen. Nacua the best overall athlete on the field.

Kapeli gives the Silverbowl a taste of what they'll see in the next few years, unfortunately for him there'll be a bigger crowd this Saturday than there will be for most of his UNLV home games. Too bad Hauck couldn't get more island kids at UNLV he might actually draw a home crowd even during bad seasons because they're not fairweather fans.

I'm thinking about sitting on the Liberty side where most fans- not just a select few- actually stand up cheer and get loud on third downs even when the ESPN camera isn't on them. Gorman might have more people show up but Liberty will have the crowd advantage hands down; G-Block or not.

This is the best match up we could have possibly received the absolute domination from Gorman during the Solomon era gets a curtain call this Saturday making the next few years a hell of a lot more interesting.

  2. Gorman over Liberty
I hope all the kids and parents show up and fill the stadium. Support these kids who have worked so hard and for so long to get there. To both schools, congrats, good luck and kick butt!

  3. "Too bad Hauck couldn't get more island kids at UNLV he might actually draw a home crowd even during bad seasons because they're not fairweather fans." I totally agree @tuasdad! Somebody needs to tweet that to Hauck! But it's not just island kids, it's all our local kids. THAT'S the key to building a winning UNLV team - local talent and community support. Ummmm.....helloooooo?!?!?!

Here's to an injury free game for both sides at the state game. Best of luck to my BG nephews: Anu, Kiki & Isaiah. My heart is obviously with my Liberty Patriots and I will cheer my lungs out...no matter. Proud of all these kids! Let's have a great game! LET'S GO PATRIOTS!!!!
