Streeter at head of Findlay College Prep alumni

Findlay College Prep alum Jacques Streeter scored a career-high 27 points for Cal State Fullerton on Wednesday night in a 91-87 victory over Cal State Northridge.

He is one of several Pilots from last season’s 32-1 team that are contributing this season at the Division-I level.

Streeter averages 11.7 points, second on the 9-10 Titans, and he makes almost half his shots.

Former Findlay teammate Brice Massamba has struggled a bit in his first season at UNLV, but his follow-up basket of Tre’Von Willis’s miss Wednesday gave the Rebels the lead for good at BYU.

Massamba made it 50-48 with 11 1/2 minutes remaining, and UNLV (15-4) didn’t trail the rest of the way in its 76-70 victory.

At Kentucky (15-4), DeAndre Liggins has started once and averages 5.6 points and has dished out a team-best 62 assists. He’s shooting 43 percent from the field.

Liggins has led, or tied for the Wildcats' lead, in assists seven times, which includes the first two games of Kentucky's season -- when he had five against Virginia Military Institute and seven at North Carolina.

At Florida State (15-4), Deividas Dulkys has averaged nearly 4 points in the 15 games he’s played. He’s struggling a tad, too, shooting 28 percent.

At California (15-3), Jorge Gutierrez has played all 18 games. He’s shooting 45.3 percent, and he averages 4.4 points and 3.3 boards. He has a positive assists-to-turnovers ratio, and he’s one off the team lead with 14 steals.
