Findlay College Prep belted Simi Valley (Calif.) Stoneridge Prep, 88-53, on Saturday night to improve to 27-0.
Junior point guard Cory Joseph scored 19 points to lead the Pilots, senior guard Avery Bradley added 18 and power forward Godwin Okonji chipped in with 11.
UNLV-bound center Carlos Lopez had two dunks in traffic and played what coach Mike Peck called his best game of the season.
“We played the best we’ve played in a while,” Peck said. “We came out of the gate, defensively, very strong … great group effort.”
The Pilots play Stoneridge again Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Henderson International School, with which Findlay is affiliated.
