One and done: UCLA coach says Shabazz Muhammad headed to NBA

UCLA freshman sensation Shabazz Muhammad has played his final game at Pauley Pavilion. Well, at least according to Bruins coach Ben Howland. Muhammad, a 2012 Bishop Gorman graduate, appears to be headed to the NBA next season. "That was his last game in Pauley," Howland said after a hard-fought 74-69 victory over No. 11-ranked Arizona. "There's no doubt about it. I know that. He knows that. We all know that. So we want this season to go on as long as possible."

  1. You can't blame these kids for taking the huge $$$...

    but it's a messed up SYSTEM that allows for this kind of ridiculous 'auditioning for the NBA' for a year and then 'ascending' to 'The Show'.
    Young Mr. Bennett will likely be vying for a high draft position w/Shabazz.
