ESPN shows male athlete kiss husband at Las Vegas event in apparent first

No active athlete in a major sport has publicly come out as gay. But ESPN recently took a big step toward legitimizing homosexuality in sports by airing footage this weekend of professional bowler Scott Norton kissing his husband after winning the 2012 PBA Chameleon Championship in Las Vegas. While the event was held in November, it was broadcast on ESPN this Sunday.
