Sharron Angle: Nevada Senate frontrunner?

(via The Washington Post) · June 3, 2010 · 1:37 PM

New polling out today show former Nevada Assemblywoman Sharron Angle surging to a lead in the Republican Senate primary, a rapid rise that establishes her as the frontrunner heading into the vote next Tuesday.

A new Suffolk University poll of 400 likely Republican primary voters shows Angle leading with 33 percent, with businessman Danny Tarkanian pulling in 26 percent and former state party chairwoman Sue Lowden taking 25 percent. The poll is the first showing Lowden falling behind Tarkanian, although the two are still within the 4.9 percent margin of error.
