Gov. Jim Gibbons said today he won’t be sad if he loses the Republican gubernatorial primary next week, saying a loss would only open up a new chapter in his life, one that won’t include another run for public office. “I am going to celebrate if I don’t win the primary, a celebration whether I win or don’t win,” Gibbons told the Reno Gazette-Journal. “It is going to be a celebration. It’s a victory to me, either way.”

Get ready to get defeated Jim
spinning to the very end...
sorry jimmy...
nobody believes a single word that comes out of your mouth...
The whole state of Nevada can celebrate when this tired old fool makes history as the first governor to lose a re-election in his party's primary.
We can't get rid of this self-styled "education governor" fast enough...
He'll have a lot of time to look for drunken women to help to their cars.
Gibbons sounds like he couldn't care less whether he wins or loses, more or less uninterested, the same detached way he governed.
How does the Nevada GOP come up with so many freaks? Do they hold a contest or something?
Good bye, Jim. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Dear Jim,
Please don't come to Las Vegas to celebrate your defeat. Our cocktail waitresses are hard working and don't need to put up with more drama.
PS
I believe Sig has moved on.
kthksbye
Sandoval, Reid or Gibbons or any other party clown is a loss for Nevada and a win for big business.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Now, what I personally would like to see is BOTH Reid and Sandoval starting to show the voters why we should vote FOR them rather the why we should vote against the other candidate. I'm sick of BOTH sides and their attack ads. By far the worst in my mind is the "Gibbons is pond scum trying to ruin Nevada... oh yeah, and so is Rory Reid". And Reid has gotten his shots in at Sandoval too, so in my mind neither one comes off as a real leader.
"None of the above" keeps looking better and better all the time.
BYE BYE BYE jim
Jim Gibbons, as far as I'm concerned, is one of the most arrogant jerks I seen in politics in recent times. He gets caught with his girlfriend coming back from an out of town flight and he wants to ramble on about his privacy?? You old jerk...your a public figure...an elected official...you have no privacy save your home. As an elected official, your suppose to have something called moral fiber...not go sleazing around with pin up girls behind your wife back. You really are a jerk.
