A UFC welterweight title fight between Georges St. Pierre and Josh Koscheck on Dec. 11 will take place in Montreal, Quebec — and not Las Vegas as was previously discussed by its president Dana White. Earlier this month, White told the Las Vegas Sun the event was likely going to take place at one of the MGM Grand properties, however the company has changed gears in an attempt to capitalize on their Canadian champion's enormous popularity. It will be the second UFC event to take place in Montreal this year.
