Junie Browning, a UFC fighter on the eighth season of the organization's popular reality TV show "The Ultimate Fighter," was arrested for assaulting nurses at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson last night. Browning, who was taken to the hospital by friends who feared he had overdosed, became angry when officials would not let him leave under his own power. He pushed a female nurse, punched a male nurse and kicked another according to a police report. "Do you know who I am? I will kill you and rape your family," said Browning, who was charged with three counts of battery, according to a police report.

And I'm actually not opposed to competent adults having access to steroids under a doctor's supervision. But this smacks of "roid rage." If so, just goes to demonstrate why we still do need government supervision of controlled substances.

One bad apple? I think his actions are indicative of the filth that is UFC.
the ufc will probably not tolerate such bad behavior, and awful publicity - i would think. i would feel that the UFC Contract would be in jeapardy......

wow, Shouldn't he be charged with Battery with a Deadly Weapon. He fights UFC, which means he hold at least one if not multiple black belts.
I think the nurses should sue UFC and this fighter. And where was the Armed Security that i always see running around St. Rose? He would have been so Tased if I was there. I wouldn't have stopped till I saw his hair smoking.
Come on people, Nurses are some of the best people in the world. They heal and help and comfort. For some ahole to punch them is not only wrong, but he deserves some shock treatment.
As far as MMA and UFC fighting goes, I have met many fighters who are the nicest guys around. This one fighter or should I say chicken, should detract from the sport or the dedication to Mixed Martial Arts that so many fights have.
Well, it was only a matter of time before these meatheads started ranting "do you know who I am" and throwing punches at people who dared say "no".

What are you talking about? Why is the UFC responsible for this jerks actions? Should your employer be sued if you do some thing wrong on your own time? No, only an idiot would think otherwise. Is Junie even under contract? I seen him on the Ultimate Fighter, but not since then. On that show he had anger issues & was a complete idiot. The article said he was in for a possible O.D. which may explain his anger not roids like some other blogger mentioned. If you seen this guy you would not think he was n roids. He is a jerk who should go to jail & if the nurses feel they want to sue for his actions only Junie should be sued as he did the deed not the UFC.
