Paul McCartney's seven-second Las Vegas sell-out

(via People Magazine) · March 10, 2009 · 5:48 PM

Paul McCartney tickets are hot — so hot, in fact, that the seven-second sell out of his April 19 gig at the new Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel might have set a world record, according to People. The 4,000 seats sold at a rate of 600 per second, the magazine said.

  1. Yeah right - and all these tickets were scooped up by scalpers and ticket brokers!!! THe average fan or above-average fan didn't have a chance in **** to get any tickets!

  2. No kidding! I'm sure HR big wigs got their share before they even went on sale, as well as holding back many for high rollers. Seems really unfair.

  3. Just how much more money does this man need? asking what he did for his tickets, and now the blown up price you ll have to pay to see him? It wont be long till we will know as THESE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,VACATION SPOT FOR THE WORLD!

  4. I looked online as soon as I heard about it but couldn't find anything - I wonder how much the tickets sold for? I really had my heart set on going dam it.

Im sure you will be able to get a ticket soon from one of the ticket broker sites. You know damn well those people bought up blocks of tickets and will sell them at a huge markup. I think it's called "legalized scalping".
