California officials find Nevada ads 'un-Bear-able'

(via LA Times) · March 30, 2008 · 4:10 PM

A series of ads from the Nevada Development Authority is promoting relocation of California companies to Las Vegas. The ads portray the bear from California's state flag variously sitting on, riding atop and holding on a leash California business men and women. The set of seven ads are currently running in local publications throughout California. According to the LA Times, the ads have come at a time when the California legislature, facing a $16.5 billion deficit, is considering a tax raise on businesses. The ads can be seen here.
