United Press International reports that union officials said they were not discouraged by Saturday's vote at the Rio in Las Vegas, where dealers voted 247-162 against joining Las Vegas Dealers Local 721. Union officials, who have been successful at organizing dealers at The Wynn and Caesars Palace casinos, say they will continue to try to organize at other local casinos, UPI reports.
