No matter which of the two Davids wins the "American Idol" title this season, the whole Top Ten gang will hit the road again this summer for a 49-city tour, which begins July 1 in Glendale, Arizona. Las Vegas is stop number four on the tour itinerary, with the "Idols" appearing July 5 at UNLV's Thomas & Mack Center. Tickets go on sale May 17 at Ticketmaster.com and AEGLive.com.
Appropriately enough, Pop Tarts is the presenting sponsor for the "Idols" tour.
After spending two or more hours each week watching the show, true "Idol" obsessives spend, um, a lot of time reading the various recap sites after each week's show. The funniest of the bunch is Weetapidol, a transcript of real-time online banter between two friends who watch the show while drinking wine. Lots of wine. (Text-only, but could be slightly NSFW).
