WASHINGTON -- Democratic Rep. Dina Titus continues to expand her reach on the Hill, having been appointed today as one of the conferees to negotiate the final version of a massive defense bill.
Titus joins several dozen colleagues from both sides of the aisle who will hash out the differences between the House and Senate versions of the National Defense Authorization Act, the fiscal 2010 priorities for defense spending.
The Southern Nevada area congresswoman was named to the panel based on her work on the House Homeland Security Committee, and will focus on portions of the bill under that jurisdiction.

Good for Dina! Give em' Heck.
maybe they can get some jobs, why don't they pull the troops out of Korea and Okinawa and put them in Tonopah
GOD HELP OUR TROOPS NOW!!!I HAVE ONE THING TO SAY TO ALL IN CONGRESS AND IN THE SENATE,IF THEY NEED MORE TROOPS,GIVE IT TOO THEM! IF THEY NEED MORE FUNDING,GIVE IT TOO THEM! REMEMBER FOLKS,AS YOU SLEEP THESE BRAVE MEN AND WOMAN ARE WATCHING YOUR BUTT,AND ARE VERY LUCKY TO GET A WINK IN A FOX HOLE!THEY ARE OUT THERE PROTECTING YOUR RIGHTS,AND DESERVE ANYTHING THEY NEED! PERIOD!!!!!!!!!
Now, can we get a little bacon over here.
Fancy Nancy gets MORE than her fair share for her teeny-weeny-free-lovin'-tenderloin peninsula.
Does this mean Dina has invested money in any of our defense contractors?
