WASHINGTON -- You might want to reconsider your Saturday evening plans if you, like most of the Hill right now, are glued to the health care vote in the Senate.
Word is plans are underway for an 8 p.m. vote Saturday in the Senate -- which would meet some senators' demands to ensure a 72-hour period to review the bill that was posted last night at www.democrats.senate.gov.
Now, remember, this is only the vote on the motion to proceed to the bill -- essentially, to begin the debate. But in the excruciatingly incremental world of the Senate, the vote would be significant.

A Classic 12 round bout between Idiotic Ideology and Rex Reality.
This is kind of like a midnight moveout for people trying to dodge the landlord.
Typical, nothing ever changes, just the name plates.
A good time will be had by all - maybe American people will get better health care even if it is not as good as all the other industrialized nations who have too much!
this is what America voted for..cbs poll 56% want reform with public option....Sean Insannity and Limpbaugh are millionaires who can pay for what they want...they should get out of the way of middle class Americans
Another trillion dollars on the kids and grandkids credit card.
Nice going congress. Keep spending and borrowing.
IDIOTS
Yet another Saturday night session for the most honest and ethical Congress EVAH!
I can tell you that 56% of Americans do not want a public option mred.
Are there any government entities or programs that don't loose money. Why do some people think that health care will be any different?
The polls actually indicate that people do not want the plan to pass.
There are many great options for better health care and all of them involve LESS involvement from the government. There are government laws in place currently that if they no longer existed This bill is riddled with political agendas in lieu of good intentions for the American public. It's time for American citizens to start waking up to the fact that no matter what - you will be paying for this.
We the People will be paying for this healthscare scheme and whatever else the bureaucrats want to dump on us - because we are letting the government control us, instead of the people controllig the gov.
Oh well - what else is new - this political stuff is for paranoid nuts - there's more important things to do - like concern myself with what celebrity is cheating on his wife this week - destroy a person's name, and don't consider his family - I apologize to the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence - the men who risked everything so we could have a free Republic.
