WASHINGTON -- Sometimes people say this town is like Hollywood for not-so-pretty people. But sometimes, as is the case today, it just feels like Hollywood.
Former cast members of the “West Wing” are in town to lobby on the Employee Free Choice Act, the labor-backed bill that would make it easier for workers to form unions.
Actors Martin Sheen, Bradley Whitford and Richard Schiff are expected to be roaming the halls.
Not to be outdone, a House Appropriations subcommittee welcomes musicians Wynton Marsalis, Josh Groban and Linda Ronstadt to discuss the federal role in the arts.
All those cameras that point and click when the president’s entourage stops by the Hill will have another star focus, at least for today.
