Edwards won’t be hanging around past Friday

Former Sen. John Edwards' campaign has just released his schedule through Saturday's Nevada caucus — and, without reading too much into it, we'll just note that the Silver State is not on Saturday's agenda.

That day he'll be in Missouri, Georgia and South Carolina, as part of his three-day “America Rising, Coast to Coast” tour.

The Edwards campaign is predicting a "strong finish" here, but has spent the last week cultivating support in South Carolina, a state he's had to himself while his two rivals for the nomination, Sens. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, have been campaigning in Nevada.

Edwards is in Las Vegas for tonight's Democratic debate and will campaign here through Friday, when he hits stops on his way back east, beginning with Oklahoma.
