Since Thursday's Iowa caucus, the national media has skipped (or scorned) Nevada's Jan. 19 caucus, skipping ahead to the South Carolina contest on Jan. 26.
Well, Sen. Barack Obama hasn't forgotten about us.
As he ordered a hot tea with lemon in New Hampshire today, reporters fired some questions, including this one:
"Q. What’s next after New Hampshire?"
A. “Nevada comes up after that. We want to win Nevada. Then South Carolina comes up after that, we want to try to win there. Then the Feb. 5 states, we want to win all the states. And then after that, hopefully I have enough delegates that I win the nomination and I go to the convention, so that would be the sequence of events that we’re talking about.”
Not exactly insightful analysis (though it wasn't the most probing question, either) but at least Obama knows the calendar.
