There was a time when some reporters took freebies from sources, and apparently there are still people who do so.
From the state Democratic Party:
"Media after-party at LAX Nightclub at the Luxor. Media are invited to a VIP party at one of Vegas’ newest clubs. Credentialed media will receive a line pass, drinks and a VIP spot in the club. Your press credential will be your line pass."
Don't know what can even be said about this, except that the attractiveness quotient at LAX will be down a bit tonight, if any political reporters take the freebie.
