Read Thursday's Sun for a story by Tony Cook and me about disarray at the SEIU Nevada as it tries to determine a presidential candidate to endorse.
In-fighting within the union and its leadership surfaced Wednesday when the Clinton campaign announced that 200 nurses, many of them SEIU members, are supporting the New York senator. The news came as the SEIU local struggles to make an endorsement. And little wonder: Clinton, Obama and Edwards each have support on the union executive committee.
So for now, no one is sure if an endorsement will be made, or when.
Part of the back story to the confusion: the elected president and Executive Director Jane McAlevey are at odds.
