Alan Keyes on Immigration

Published Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 | 5:09 p.m.

Updated Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008 | 2:14 p.m.

In order to maintain and encourage legal immigration, but stop illegal immigration, Keyes believes that America's borders must first be secured. Regarding those illegal immigrants that are already in America, Keyes opposes any law that would extend the same rights to illegal immigrants as legal immigrants. According to Keyes, enforcing already existing laws is fundamental in ending illegal immigration.
