Sharron Angle works to soften her image in latest ad

In her latest ad, Republican Senate candidate Sharron Angle works to soften the extremist image she's been tarred with and blames Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid for the economic crisis. We put her claims through the Truth Test.

  1. Too late. It would be the same as a zebra changing stripes. Can't happen.

    To soften her image, it's going to take a battalion of Republican wingnuts, wire brushes, fabric softener and meat tenderizer.

    I say the best thing the Republicans need to do is buy Sharron Angle an airplane flight to Timbuktu with a return date of November 3rd.

    You can fix mistakes, but you can't fix crazy.

    I would be safe to say that even if she did win, the Republican Party Senators probably cringe at the idea of trying to work with her. Because, just in Nevada politics, she has a horrific record of voting no on EVERYTHING and talking to death everything else she doesn't vote no on. They wouldn't even be able to corral her even with a lasso. She creates drama, not fixes it. She also causes problems, not solve them.

  2. She came out against extending unemployment again. All over the TV.
