Democrat Rory Reid has spent the past couple weeks attacking his Republican rival in the governor's race via press release and earned media. But he may be taking that attack to the airwaves as early as tomorrow.

The campaign is set to begin airing its first television ads of the general election campaign this week. They're hoping to have the spot up tomorrow morning. No word yet on whether the ads will be positive, negative or both. It's expected the ads will be focused on the message du jour: education.

Perhaps a paid spot that will penetrate thousands of Nevada households will provoke Brian Sandoval to enter the fray on education after all.
