Saxophonist Cash Farrar, whose roots go back to San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury District, is back in Vegas after a long hiatus.

Farrar plays from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. tonight at the Square Apple, 1000 E. Sahara Ave. It's free.

Farrar managed a jazz club in the Haight in the ’60s called Levels, and he has performed in Vegas off-and-on since 1968.
