Scotch giant urging men to wear kilts Thursday

Forget “Bring Your Kid to Work Day;” this Thursday is “Wear a Kilt to Work Day.”

The Scottish-themed holiday sponsored by scotch giant Glenlivet, and asks food and beverage workers across the country to don a kilt on April 2 to raise awareness for a worthy cause.

The day-long event is being organized in support of the Cleveland Clinic’s Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

The event is being celebrated at New York-New York with a special on Glenlivet’s signature single malts ($25 for a six-whisky tasting) and a kilt-filled photo op on the resort’s Brooklyn Bridge at 3 p.m.

Let’s just hope it’s not too windy.

  1. "Scotch" is what you drink, "Scotish" is what you are, unless you have too much Scotch.

  2. Read the story boftx.
