The Las Vegas Philharmonic will benefit in more ways that one from its Sept. 15 performance with tenor Placido Domingo at Planet Hollywood’s Theatre for the Performing Arts.
A select number of seats have been set aside for Las Vegas residents. Additional tickets will be sold to Las Vegas patrons who would like to attend a a VIP reception following the concert. Partial proceeds from the sales will go to the Philharmonic, a nonprofit organization.
The concert falls on the eve of Mexican Independence Day. Soprano Ana Maria Martinez will also perform in the concert that includes Spanish opera, zarzuela and mariachis.
Tickets are $99 to $394 for the concert. Reception tickets are $250. Tickets can be purchased at the Philharmonic office at 1214 S. Jones Blvd. or by calling 258-5438 ext. 226.
