Criss Angel and Holly Madison may say they’re “just having fun” but the two appeared to be just smitten as they walked the “black carpet” Friday night.

The couple walked hand-in-hand as they made their way into the theater before the world premiere of Angel’s new Cirque du Soleil show, “Criss Angel Believe.”

"This is one of the most special evenings for me in my life and I cannot think of a more beautiful person, a more special person, inside and out, than Holly to spend it with," Angel told reporters.

Still, the pair denied they were an official couple. When asked about the nature of their romance, both Angel and Madison delivered the same line. Repeatedly. “We’re just having fun,” they said.

"I got lucky,” Angel said. “I didn't have a date and so she said, 'I'll come.’”

The pair’s black carpet appearance came just 25 days after Madison publicly admitted that her years-long stint with 82-year-old Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner was over. She has since denied having any romance with Angel, insisting that the two are platonic friends and nothing more.

While Angel’s handlers have also denied the magician is dating the former Playboy model, Angel and Madison have been repeatedly spotted together in various Las Vegas nightclubs and restaurants.

Madison, who has long been a fan of Angel’s A&E series, “Mindfreak,” has also been spotted during several preview performances of “Believe.” She sat next to Angel’s mother, Dimitra Sarantakos, during Tuesday night’s show, adding to speculation that she and the magician were together.

Angel’s affection for the 28-year-old blonde was obvious Friday. The two kissed and held hands as they made their way into the theater before Angel’s 7 p.m. performance.

There were a few more kisses between interviews and photo ops on the black carpet, flanked by dozens of print and television reporters from across North America.

Once inside the theater, Angel headed backstage to prepare for the show and Madison took her seat alongside the magician’s family members, who had flown in from across the country to see the show.

The two were reunited after Angel’s 10 p.m. performance during an extravagant after-party at the Luxor pool that Cirque du Soleil threw for its newest show’s star.

Members of the “Believe” cast, crew and creative team, including founder Guy Laliberté and director Serge Denoncourt, joined the pair in the party’s VIP section, where celebrations continued until 4 a.m.

Angel and Madison left the party at 3:30 a.m. but were seen half an hour later as they entered the official “Believe” after-party at LAX.

Once inside, the two remained inseparable as party-goers celebrated the launch of Cirque’s latest $100-million spectacle.

The show will resume its twice-a-night, five-days-a-week schedule on Sunday.

Angel’s contract with Cirque du Soleil will see him perform more than 6,400 shows over the next 10 years, with an optional five-year extension following that.
