Looking for a little Bach this Easter season?
The Southern Nevada Musical Arts Society will present J.S. Bach's "St. John Passion" at 3 p.m. Sunday in Artemus Ham Hall. The concert features tenor Jonathan Mack from the Los Angeles Opera (the Evangelist), a 65-piece chorus and 22-piece orchestra.
Other soloists include bass-baritone Neil Wilson (Jesus), baritone Tod Fitzpatrick (Pilate), soprano Amy Cofield and mezzo-soprano Juline Barol-Gilmore. The concert will be conducted by Dr. Doug Peterson.
Tickets are $15; $10 for seniors, military, and persons with disabilities; and $5.00 for students, 895-2787.
