Anyone wondering what Elizabeth Herridge is up to these days can find her over at the Las Vegas Philharmonic

The former managing director of the now-closed Guggenheim Hermitage Museum has been appointed as the orchestra’s interim executive director while the orchestra seeks to fill the seat permanently.

Herridge is filling the vacancy left by Phil Koslow, who became director of development earlier this year.

Koslow says that the orchestra hopes to identify a new director by fall and is busy preparing for its first Pop Series.

Herridge, an art historian and member of the Las Vegas Arts Commission, has served on philharmonic’s board of directors and is a regular at concerts.
