Take a nostalgic trip with the show band SRO Saturday night at Charlie's Down Under.

The seven-piece band performs rock, R&B, soul and blues from the ‘60s through the ‘90s.

The band performs from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday at Charlies Down Under, 1950 N.Buffalo Drive. The show is free.

Lead singer is Rico Diamonti. The band leader is Rico Madrid, who plays bass and trumpet, sometimes both at the same time.

“We are a high energy show that will take everybody on a trip down memory lane,” Madrid says.

The group also has landed a regular Thursday night gig at Roxy’s in Sam’s Town starting in September.

Here are some other good picks:

-- Popular vocalist Mark Giovi performs music that covers the 1920s to

the present Friday at MacDonald’s Ranch Community Center. Giovi is a cast member of "Bite" at the Stratosphere and used to be one of the Las Vegas Tenors. (7 p.m. Friday, 2020 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, $18, 286-8280, (609) 851-5390)

-- Show band Yellow Brick Road will perform poolside at the Tropicana as part of the resort’s Mint Monday summer concert series. (7:30 and 9 p.m. Monday, free, 739-2222, tropicanalv.com)
