Las Vegas band leader Lon Bronson and his All-Star Band will get some national exposure Thursday night when the sensational jazz and funk band opens the show that will be season finale of “Last Comic Standing” (8 p.m. on NBC).
Bronson is no stranger to Hollywood -- he’s a favorite of Drew Carey, who recently flew Bronson and the gang to La-La-Land to perform at a wrap party (wrap, not rap) for “The Price is Right,” which ended its season of shooting.
Bronson, who's lived in Las Vegas since 1990, used to perform at wrap parties for Carey’s sitcom in the ‘90s.
Trumpeter Bronson, a native of New Hampshire, describes his sound as sort of a blend of Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa and Alanis Morissette.

Las Vegas is an amazing town!
