Police seek information on man stabbed to death near Sunset Park

Metro Police are asking for any information on two men seen attacking a man found stabbed to death near Sunset Park about 10:50 p.m. Monday.

Police arrived to find a man dead from stab wounds lying in the eastbound lanes of Sunset Avenue, just east of Eastern Avenue.

Homicide detectives learned that the victim had been seen being chased through Sunset Park by two men, who caught up with the victim near the tennis courts.

Two men ran and the victim got up and ran into traffic where he died, police said.

The identity of the man stabbed to death is being withheld until family can be notified.
