Police ask for help in morning robbery that left Raiders receiver unconcious

Metro Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect or suspects in a robbery that occurred today about 7:19 a.m.

Officers arrived at Winnick Avenue and Koval Lane and found Oakland Raiders wide receiver Javon Walker unconscious on the sidewalk, police said.

Police spokesman Bill Cassell said that Walker, who a $55 million deal with the Raiders after being released by the Denver Broncos in February, was taken to a hospital with "significant injuries." Cassell said Walker remained in fair condition at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center. Metro's investigation is ongoing.
