Arrest made in Baskin Park shootings (UPDATED)

Metro Police have arrested 21-year-old Jesse James Cole in the weekend shooting at Bob Baskin Park that left one man dead and another in critical condition.

Detectives served a search warrant at a home in the 5500 block of Lonesome Biker Lane in southwest Las Vegas early Tuesday morning, police said. A customized Toyota Scion Tc coupe matched the description of a vehicle seen in the shooting at the park. The vehicle was seized, police said.

The shooting killed 18-year-old David Miramontes and injured 19-year-old Chris Luscombe, who was shot in the torso and has been in critical condition at University Medical Center since the shooting occurred about 3 a.m. Sunday.

Cole is charged with murder with a deadly weapon, attempted murder with a deadly weapon, discharge of a firearm from a roadway and discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle.
