Motorcyclist dies after crash

A 63-year-old man riding a 1994 Honda motorcycle died after a crash in the southeastern part of Las Vegas Valley today.

Metro Police traffic investigators said that 59-year-old Roberto Soborido of Las Vegas was traveling south on Mojave Road when he turned left to go east on Spokane Drive about 2:51 p.m.

The motorcyclist hit the passenger side of the Toyota and was taken to Sunrise Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

This is the 66th traffic-related death in Metro's jurisdiction this year.

The crash remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
