An 11-year veteran state corrections officer has been arrested by Metro Police on child pornography charges.
Police arrested Robert M. Cecil, 45, on Tuesday and he is in custody at the Clark County Detention Center pending a hearing on Friday.
Cecil was charged with one count of preparing or advertising or distributing pornography and 10 counts of possession of child pornography.
The Nevada Department of Corrections terminated Cecil today, spokeswoman Suzanne Pardee said.
